EXTRA INFORMATION HERTENHOEVE
De Hertenhoeve is our personal family holiday residence (former home of our parents). A wonderful place of space, peace and freedom in a typical Brabant rural setting. A place to enjoy with your grandparents, parents, children and other family members. Also a place to create memorable, new memories with your dear friends. You determine the details of your stay yourself, but we are happy to advise you. To avoid mutual disappointments, we want to indicate that de Hertenhoeve is not a location with entertainment and nightlife such as you find on a campsite or larger holiday park. We therefore consider the farm not suitable for groups of young people. We appreciate personal contact prior to the (rental) rent. If you want to have a look first, this is of course no problem!
General information
Arrival and departure: Arrival from 4.00 pm, departure until 10.00 am, unless otherwise agreed.
The neighbour and his wife will receive you on arrival and hand over the keys. When you rent a (bath) sheet package and opt for a made bed, the bed is made ready on arrival with the bath towel package. You can also rent a bed / bath towel package and make the bed yourself. If you do not rent a bed linen package, then you should bring bed and bath sheets and make your bed. (pillows, duvets and mattress protectors are provided and included in the rent)
In case of technical problems during your stay you can approach the neighbour.
Internet: In and around the house is a good WIFI connection. Use of this is included in the rent.
Children: are very welcome and can safely stay in and around the farm. The garden is completely walled and / or fenced. There is a lot of play space, also covered. There are indoor and outdoor toys and games, as well as 2 cots and 2 high chairs, box, potty, bath, (There is no fence at the stairs)
Seniors and disabled people: The ground floor and garden of the Hertenhoeve / Deer Farm are hand-held wheelchair accessible. On the ground floor there are 2 bathrooms and a senior bedroom with high, electrically adjustable beds. Bathrooms partially adapted, accessible. Shower and shower chair present. Bath with step-in aid, walk-in shower. High toilet seat. If necessary, the owner, who is partly wheelchair dependent, gives you information about (im) possibilities in and around the house.Via the home care organization (eg Zuidzorg) you can rent additional tools or switch on home care.
Pets: are very welcome! The site is well fenced. There are safe play, run and exhaust options. Your dog can walk safely in the garden and around the house. Several fens in the area offer swimming possibilities for your dog or horse. (You and your children can also take a dip in this natural water)
Certified assist or guide dogs + training dogs can stay with us for free; The accommodation costs for all other dogs are donated to the Dutch Assitance Dogs Organisation Hulphond Nederland
The owner's assistance dog always enjoys his holidays and weekends at the Hertenhoeve, where he has more than enough play and run opportunities and can easily receive friends or girlfriends.
Horses: Your horses can stay on the meadows and / or in 1 of the 3 boxes. There are several riding routes from the house.
Usual food and household items: These are present in the house. You can make use of this if you take care of any supplement upon departure.
Electrical appliances: There are various devices such as washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator (2), oven, freezer, sandwich maker, food processor, blender present.
